5 Year Warranty

Spa Cover Group (SCGI), as manufacturer, warrants this spa cover to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of FIVE YEARS from the date of purchase by the original purchaser, providing that all terms of this warranty are met.

During this period, SCGI will , at their option, either repair or replace the defective cover or part thereof. Warranty defects do not include:

• Minor cosmetic color changes.

• Rotting threads or vinyl due to excessive chemical usage.

• Damage caused by extreme temperatures.

• Material abrasions due to misuse.

• Damage caused by vandalism.

• Foam breakage, bowed panels, or moisture retention due to natural absorption of condensation.

• Color changes or dying & cracking caused by the use of silicone based cleaners or vinyl treatments (see cleaning instructions).

SCGI will:

Be responsible for the repair or replacement of defective cover or part thereof and is not liable for any direct, incidental or consequential damages, loss or injury arising from the use or inability to use the product.

Offer no other warranty, express or implied, other than those herein written.  The terms of this warranty may not be amended unless by agreement in writing authorized and signed by the manufacturer.

SCGI will, upon inspection and determination of the validity of the claim, either repair or replace the cover based on the following pro-rata basis:

Within the first 365 days from the date of purchase-No charge.

Day 366 through the remaining 48 months-1/60th of the current retail price of a SCGI spa cover each month since original purchase.

Covers must be clean for warranty evaluation and repair.

All repairs and/or replacements under this warranty exclude Shipping & Handling. All freight charges will be F.O.B. SCGI's plant and SCGI will not be liable for any S & H charges.

Follow care and maintenance instructions as follows:

Avoid exposing cover to excessive chemicals. Always remove cover when adding chemicals.

Keep cover clean and free of dirt and debris.

Avoid scraping the cover on abrasive surfaces.

Avoid jerking or pulling cover when vinyl is softened by heat.

All water or snow must be kept from accumulating or puddling on the cover.

Never forcibly open or flip cover onto one side.

ever lift or pull on straps or skirting.

Do not stand, sit, or walk on cover.

Notify the manufacturer immediately upon discovery of any defect.

Proof of purchased must accompany any warranty request.
